 Prayer Requests
There are blue cards for requesting prayers in the pew racks and in the back of the church.  There is a large blue box in the back of the church in which you can place your requests for prayer.  These requests are picked up by the Daughters of the King and will be included in their prayers for a month.  If you wish, they will also be added to the Prayers of the People read each Sunday.

In Sympathy

We extend our prayers and sympathy to members of our St. Francis family who have lost loved ones.

Joe Dury lost his father, Charles Dury.

***********************************************

We received the following thank you note:

Thank you so much for the lovely graduation party. My mom sent me pictures of the event and while I’m sad I couldn’t be there, if made my heart immensely happy to know the church family was thinking about me, eight hours away.

Warmest thoughts from Florida,

Beth Doane

Hospice Volunteers for Veterans

Hospice of Rutherford County would like to thank all of our veterans who have done so much for our county.

One of our newest programs is the Veteran to Veteran Program which matches patients who are veterans with volunteers who are veterans as well. This program encourages partnerships between community hospices, state hospice organizations and VA facilities.

If you are a veteran and are interested in volunteering to help serve other veterans in need, please call 828-245-0095 to find out about our upcoming volunteer training July 18th—20th at the Carolina Event and Conference Center.
