We welcome Rachel Aytes and her daughter Hannah this Sunday.  Rachel and Daniel Aytes have been living among Tibetans and Chinese in Chengdu, Sichaun Province since 2003.

 

  SPAGHETTI  LUNCH FUNDRAISER

Sunday, April 18

Following the 10:30 am service April 18, The Brotherhood of St. Andrew will sponsor a spaghetti lunch in the Parish House.

All funds raised to toward aiding the ministry of the Chaplaincy Program at Spindale Prison and Rutherford County Detention Center.

This ministry of three part-time chaplains is supported entirely by contributions from area churches and individuals.

Suggested Donation: Adults $6, Children: $3 (or whatever is manageable)

75th Anniversary

Rutherford County 

Historical Society

Reception from 3-5 p.m. at St. John's. Sunday, April 18.

St. John's is the oldest standing church building in Rutherford County and served as the first Episcopal Church in the county.

 

A Special Mother's Day Gift

 

Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity extends the opportunity to honor or remember your Mother or special lady in your life by making a contribution in her name to Habitat's Women's Day Build event on May 8th.

For you donation of $25.00(Pearl Hammer), or $50.00 (Ruby Hammer) or $100.00 (Diamond Hammer) your honoree will receive a special Mother's Day Card acknowledging  your gift and her name will be placed on Habitat's  Mother's Day Women Build banner which will be displayed on the work site and later moved to the Habitat ReStore.

Habitat for Humanity builds houses in partnership with low-income families and the community to build safe, decent, and affordable houses.
