Thanks
from the Community...
Dear Friends:
Another Year and Holiday Season has come and past.
On behalf of The Salvation Army Christmas Cheer we wish to thank
the people of
Rutherford
County. Because of your generosity
we helped 2761 individuals of which 1195 were children
With the donations of food, toys, stockings, money,
bicycles and volunteer hours you gave Hope to those that were in need.
It is overwhelming how the community pulls together to help those
less fortunate.
Our motto last year was “Doing The Most Good” but
we could not have done it without you and the community.
May God continue to Bless you, your family and the
people of
Rutherford
County
.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Annie Elrod-Oberle
Director of Social Services
The Salvation Army
and
more thanks...
From
the North Carolina Department of Correction
Dear
St Francis,
The
staff and inmates of Rutherford Correctional Center would like to thank
you for your contribution of ford for the Inmate Christmas Party that was
held on December 15, 2009. The love and concern shown to the inmates by
the members of your church was greatly appreciated.
Again,
thanks for the support your church gives to the community and the inmates
of Rutherford Correctional Center.
Sincerely,
William
Logan, Chaplain
